The Transylvania County TEA Party holds it monthly meeting at 7:00 PM in the County Community Services Building 1st Floor Conference Room
The Republican Club of Transylvania County meets at 8:30 am. on the 3rd Saturday unless otherwise advised. All Conservative oriented citizens are invited to attend these breakfast meetings. In addition to a good breakfast, at a nominal cost (actually first time guests of members and students are free). The meeting normally features a prominent Conservative (probably Republican) speaker. Notice of these meetings are also shown on the the TTP Calendar. Come and be a part of these events.
Thom Tillis has won the Republican Primary to run against Kay Hagen for the U.S. Senate seat in the November election. While TTP wishes to avoid the direct support of any candidate, in conformance with our Mission and Principles, we do have to point out where candidates have voted in a manner that is not in conformance with such. In this regard, standing Senator Kay Hagen has consistently voted in a manner that is not in conformance with TTP Conservative Principles. See Heritage Scoreboard's analysis under the Links Menu for an update report of Sen. Hagen's voting record. She is consistently rated last of all NC Federal elected office holders with regard to being willing to vote afffirmatively on Conservative issues.
